Company Overview

A fixed price. A measured outcome. A fifth of our fee riding on it.

A one-page overview of S4 Solutions โ€” what we do, who we do it for, what it costs, and what we put at risk.

The Problem

Growing businesses hit a wall.

โš™๏ธ

Processes stop scaling

What worked at 25 people is visibly breaking at 75, and nobody owns fixing it.

๐Ÿ”Œ

Technology decisions get expensive

Vendors, spend and security calls with no senior technologist in the room.

๐Ÿค–

Quotes you can't compare

Hourly proposals with an open end, from firms whose incentive is more hours.

You need senior technology judgement, priced before it starts โ€” and someone willing to say in writing what the work is supposed to move. That's what S4 Solutions sells.

What We Take On

The category isn't what you're buying.

AI Consulting

Where AI earns its cost in your operation โ€” and where it doesn't.

Usually carries fee โ€” short chain from the work to the number.

vCIO Advisory

Senior technology leadership at a fixed monthly fee.

Sometimes. Compliance coverage can carry fee; the retainer itself doesn't.

Custom Apps

The tool that doesn't exist yet, built to fit your stack.

Usually carries fee, on the process metric the application is built to move.

IT Operations

Infrastructure, vendors and security put on a footing that scales.

Sometimes. Resolution and coverage rates read cleanly; "outages avoided" doesn't.

Which of these a problem gets filed under matters less than whether it can be measured. The diagnostic settles that before anything is quoted.

Who We Serve

Who we work with

Growing businesses with 25โ€“150 employees and $5Mโ€“$75M in revenue, in the Atlanta metro and across the Southeast โ€” distribution, specialty manufacturing, professional services and financial services. Typically a business running a real ERP, CRM or ticketing system, where the owner, COO or CFO can see processes straining and wants a straight read on what to fix first.

Where we start depends on where you are: spreadsheet-run operations start with the system of record; a live ERP migration or pending acquisition is a timing question; a group without consensus starts with an alignment session; and below $25,000 of implementation work the return on our measurement rigor is harder to justify โ€” we'll say so early, and if an hourly firm is the better answer we'll point you to one, but it's a caveat rather than a cutoff.

How The Fee Works

Part of what you pay us depends on a number we agree in advance

On an outcome engagement, the price is fixed and 15โ€“20% of it is at risk against a metric named in the agreement before work starts. If the target isn't met, that portion isn't invoiced.

A metric only qualifies if all three hold: we can read it from a system you already run; there is almost nothing standing between our work and the number; and it's a rate, not a total. Most of what a business cares about fails at least one of those โ€” revenue, morale, "efficiency" in general. We say which ones fail, and why, rather than quoting them.

What that is not: it isn't a guarantee of a business result, and it isn't a term of any agreement until one is signed. The at-risk portion is scoped to the specific metric written down, not to the outcome of your quarter. The full mechanism โ€” the fee split, what we won't stake fee on, and what happens when a delay is on your side โ€” is published at s4solutions.ai/how-we-price.

What It Costs

What it costs

Offer Duration Price
Value Diagnostic 2โ€“3 weeks $5,000โ€“$9,500, fixed. Credited against an engagement started within 60 days.
Outcome Engagement 6โ€“16 weeks $25,000โ€“$75,000 typical, fixed, with 15โ€“20% at risk.
Advisory Retainer Ongoing Quoted per scope. No outcome fee โ€” retainer scope is deliberately open, so there's nothing honest to measure it against.

Ranges are typical, not a quote, and nothing here is a term of an agreement. The diagnostic is what turns a range into a number โ€” and it's the step where the metric, the baseline and the at-risk portion get set for real.

Where We Stand

We don't rely on case studies. We show you the method.

S4 Solutions is a young firm, and we don't rely on case studies to make our case. We rely on transparency, accountability, and outcomes. What we can show you is the method: how we build the value model, which metrics we will and won't put our fee behind, and exactly what goes in the agreement before work starts. You'll know what we're accountable for before you sign anything.

Who you'd be working with
